She marketed and sold our first house on Oak Ridge Road so well that we asked her to market our other home in Summerfield. We moved out of town and Christine handled the sale for us. Scott and Betsy Deans.- Kudos to Christine. **********
We bought our first home through Christine two years ago. We are ready to move up and have asked Christine to find us a home and will list ours with her. Ed and Mary Jameston.- Bought Christine's listing.
********** Our home did not sell when it was listed with the first Realtor. We were impressed with Christine's "Welcome to Our Home" book for buyers to take with them and her knowledge of marketing. Since our house was located between two major markets, Greensboro and Burlington, Christine felt that the percentages were higher that a Burlington area Realtor would sell it. She sent 200+ flyers and e-mails on our home to agents in that area. And she was right!! An agent from Burlington called on the information, our home went under contract (with a preapproved buyer) and we found a home in Greensboro with Christine!! David and Tammy Steele. Gibsonville, NC ********** Christine was our second Realtor. We marketed our home as a For Sale By Owner with no results. Our home was a difficult one to sell because it was the largest one in the neighborhood and it had a swimming pool. Christine suggested that we get an appraisal and list the property at the appraisal price. She advertised, sent out flyers, held an open house and then suggested we do a lease/purchase. Because of health reasons we had to move to Utah. Within two weeks we had a lease/option on the house and are scheduled to close soon. We were able to move as planned before the winter set in. David and Judith Shuck St. George, Utah.- Former FSBO. ********** Not too long ago, we were in a position similar to yours; as much as we loved our home, the time had come to sell it. We put our house on the market on September and listed it with an agent that had been recommended by a friend. When the contract expired in April, we listed it with a different agent in a different real estate company because we were buying a house from an agent in another city with the same company and were told it would facilitate things if we would use the same company. Christine had called us between the two listings and told us she had seen that our listing was expired. I explained that we already had re-listed our home, and I thanked her for being "on-the-ball". A week later, Christine followed up with a note and some business cards asking us to keep her in mind should we hear of any other homes going on the market. We were so impressed with Christine's attention to detail and follow-through that -- two months later, in June, when we were disappointed with our second agent -- we canceled our contract with the second agent and asked Christine to list our home. Ours was not an easy listing for Christine: the home's location was a drawback to many people; the price needed to be adjusted several times; and we, the owners, had moved to a new home out of town, in Charlotte. Often, our communications consisted of only long distance voice-mails, e-mails or faxes. With each showing, however, Christine reported back to us all comments given by the agent or the visitors, and made suggestions when she felt it was appropriate. Many times she went out of her way to check on the home to make sure that it was clean and presentable. Finally, a contract came...but fell through at literally the last minute due to a buyer back out. Still, Christine did everything she could to negotiate a situation beneficial to everyone. In July, we closed on our old home, sighed a deep breath of relief, and took Christine out for a bittersweet cup of coffee; although we were glad to sell our home at last, we knew would miss Christine's cheerful voice. She's a great agent and you'll enjoy working with her. Karen and Jim Doyle, Charlotte, NC - Dear Fellow Home-Seller: **********
